Premier League Goal Scorer Predictions

Predicting the season’s top goalscorer at the start of the campaign is tricky, but there are good signs for the likes of Diego Costa, Sergio Aguero and Aaron Ramsey.



Each player found the back of the net in each of their teams’ first two fixtures to continue their good form from last term.


With Luis Suarez gone, the golden boot trophy is up for grabs this year, and the winner will be the most consistent players in the league. Injuries and suspensions can make a real difference, so if players can retain their fitness throughout the campaign and avoid suspension, they are more likely to claim the


There’s a bit more skill involved in predicting scorers in individual fixtures this weekend. Arsenal tend to concede from set pieces, so the height of Leonardo Ulloa could make him a big threat for Leicester City. Tottenham Hotspur play a very high defensive line, so the lightning quick runs of Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling could break their ranks. Players always score against their old sides, so Romelu Lukaku may be worth backing for Everton against Chelsea.
